The first educational institution in Army Area Babina Cantt was opened in the month of Jul 1977 named “Station Sainik Nursery and Kindergarten School Babina Cantt” .
Army Primary School Babina Cantt was opened in Jul 1981 vide Army HQ, AG’s Branch letter No 13/42044/ESSA/CW-12 Dated: 25 Mar, 1980. The school was opened to provide quality education to the wards of serving and retired defence personnel including civilians paid out of defence estimate. This school had classed from Nursery to Class V.
To develop all round personality of a student and make him/her a useful enlightened and disciplined citizen.
To enable a child to extract from his environment that knowledge which will prepare him for facing the challenges of modern life.
